“Joe and Babe” is now producing episodes on a periodic basis. Check our Joe’s YouTube channel – youtube.com/nidocamen – for any latest episodes.

Joe Dugandzic, a podcaster for several years, and Babe Caylor, former radio personality and community leader with one-n-ten, co-host QTalk America’s original show. Featuring lively commentary on news and current events, plus unique interviews that showcase the people in our own community. Babe Caylor joined Joe in April 2011 for the re-launched QTalk Arizona (the network’s name at the time). It was fitting, as Babe was a guest on the very first episode of the network in 2010. Joe has known Babe ever since they met when he was a participant in the one-n-ten youth program in 1998. Since then, Joe has also been active in the Arizona community, serving on the Board of Directors for Phoenix Pride and also being involved with Aunt Rita’s Foundation. While the network has grown beyond just Arizona, he’s glad to continue ‘giving back’ to the local community. In mid-August 2011, The Joe and Babe Show went ‘live’. Interact and talk to us in a live ‘call-in’ / ‘chat-room’ format at 1:00pm MST/PST every Saturday. Of course, if you miss it, you can always listen to the podcast version later.

Jason and deMarco

Join us as we talk to them about their February tour, “Celebrating Families of Diversity” where they will be touring 35 cities in the west (Phoenix – 2/6) and bringing along their twin sons and Jason’s parents!  Jason and deMarco also do much more than just produce amazing music, they’re involved with SAFE: Safe, Affirming Family Environment, an organization they founded to help GLBTQ youth and young adults who have aged out of foster care, and help them transition to independent living.  Jason and deMarco tell their story of how they met, what they’re lives have been like over the past 10 years and some of the things that help keep their relationship nourished and growing each and every day.

Joe and Babe #101: The Devotion Project

The Joe and Babe ShowOn this year-end show, we express our thoughts about the tragic elementary school shooting in Connecticut and remember where we’ve been over this amazing year of 2012.  Our good friend Ace Lundon calls in to chat with us and we wrap up the show and give the audience our holiday greetings.

On the show, our special guest is Tony Osso, creator of The Devotion Project, a series of short films showcasing the love that LGBT couples have for each other.  The series is a total of six films, the last of which will be released in 2013.  Each film portrays a different couple, from different ethnicities, backgrounds and genders.  The stories are moving, touching and inspiring.  We think that watching these films could perhaps even change the minds of those Westboro Baptist Church folks!

All of the Devotion Project films are available online and are free to view.  Click here to watch them on YouTube.

We’re on winter break until January 12th, 2013 — happy holidays and have a safe and happy New Year’s 2013!
